5.2. EXAMPLE OF A SIX LAYER PACKAGING SIMULATION

- Package is a composite of 6 layers of same material with migrant in layer 3 and 4.
- Diffusion coefficient of migrant in material is 5e-10 cm2/s; diffusion coefficient of food simulant in material is 2e-11 cm2/s.
- Package is a 1000 cm3 cube.
