PSTA-Principle

Advantages of AKTS-TA technology

The size of the ''isokinetic space'' is a function of the investigated reaction as well as the set of the thermoanalytical conditions applied. This size is not the same in different positions in the S-C-F space. Therefore, the examination of material transformation requires a numerical method which allows the precise description of a substance transformation for any selected thermoanalytical conditions. This requirement is provided by AKTS-TA kinetic tools. AKTS-TA-Kinetics Software determines precisely the kinetic characteristics for solid-state reactions for any chosen ''isokinetic'' space. This provides the advantage that the kinetic characteristics can be regarded as the intrinsic properties of the investigated reaction for the conditions considered (isokinetic space considered). In this manner, AKTS-Thermokinetics software avoids the common cause of incorrect interpretation of kinetic data of solid-gas reaction. Once the kinetic characteristics are known, AKTS-Thermokinetics software can be applied as a diagnostic tool for the determination of the thermal behavior (under any alternative user-selected temperature mode) of the substance examined and the thermoanalytical conditions considered.
